Will it send email or change my calendar without asking?
Not for anything sensitive or hard to undo — it asks first. It won't draft or send to unengaged incoming mail without your instruction. It handles routine, reversible things quietly and records them, and only sends on your behalf under a standing permission you've granted.
When it does act under a permission you configured, it's recorded in your Activity Log and you can say "stop doing this" to disable it.
The safe default always wins
When it isn't sure whether something is sensitive, it asks rather than guessing.
