Subscription & Billing Terms

Effective 2026-08-09 · Version 1.1

These Subscription & Billing Terms ("Billing Terms") govern paid access to Lonzo ("Lonzo," the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Vista del Lago Software LLC, 18381 Vista del Lago, Yorba Linda, CA 92886, USA. They form part of, and are incorporated by reference into, the Lonzo Terms of Use. Where these Billing Terms conflict with the general Terms of Use on a billing matter, these Billing Terms control. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.

By starting a Free Trial or subscribing to a Plan, you agree to these Billing Terms.

Scope. These Billing Terms govern self-service consumer purchases only. Enterprise, business, and invoiced/purchase-order billing are not offered and, if offered in future, would be governed by a separate written agreement rather than these Billing Terms.

Every purchase is made through Google Play. Lonzo is available on Android, and Google Play Billing is the sole payment channel — there is no web checkout, no direct card payment to us, and no other purchase path. Sections 5, 6, 9, and 10 describe cancellation, refunds, failed payments, and disputes accordingly: each is handled by Google Play under Google's own policies, and in most cases we cannot act on your subscription on your behalf. If we later offer the Service on iOS or add another billing channel, these Billing Terms will be updated before that channel is available to you.

1. Definitions

"Plan" means one of the two subscription levels of the Service: the Lonzo Agenda plan and the Lonzo Assistant plan, which differ in the features they include. There is no free level of the Service — access requires an active Free Trial or an active Subscription.

"Free Trial" means a time-limited period of Lonzo Assistant plan access offered at no charge that, unless cancelled, automatically converts to a Subscription as described in Section 4.

"Subscription" means a recurring paid entitlement to a Plan, billed through Google Play.

"Subscription Term" means the initial paid period you select. "Renewal Term" means each successive period of equal length for which a Subscription automatically renews.

"Store" means Google Play. Google Play is the only Store through which the Service is sold.

2. Plans and Pricing

2.1 The two Plans; no free level

Lonzo is offered as two paid PlansLonzo Agenda at US $4.99/month and Lonzo Assistant at US $24.99/month — and there is no free level of the Service. Access requires an active Free Trial (Section 4) or an active Subscription. When neither is in effect, the Service is unavailable to the account, although your account content is retained as described in Section 7.2. Both Plans are billed monthly; no annual term is offered.

2.2 What you are buying

A Subscription is access to the Service at the Plan level you select, including the AI features that Plan includes. You are purchasing access to a service, not a fixed quantity of any deliverable, and not a monetary instrument or credit.

2.3 Prices are shown before you buy

The price of a Subscription is displayed to you before you complete the purchase, in the app and at Google Play checkout. Prices are stated in US dollars (USD), and the currency in which you are charged is shown at Google Play checkout. Amounts may vary by region, promotion, and applicable taxes.

2.4 Included usage

Each Plan includes an allowance of AI processing for each billing period, sized to that Plan and set by us. That allowance is an internal service limit — it is not a credit, currency, token, or stored-value instrument, cannot be purchased, transferred, or redeemed, and has no cash value. The allowance resets at the start of each billing period and unused amounts do not carry forward. If you reach the limit for a period, AI features become limited for the remainder of that period; your Plan and your other access do not change, nothing is deleted, and the allowance resets at your next renewal. The Lonzo Assistant plan carries the larger allowance.

2.5 Subscriptions are the only product on sale

The Service is sold only as a recurring Subscription to a Plan, which automatically renews as described in Section 3. There are no one-time purchases, add-ons, or top-ups of any kind. If you regularly reach your Plan's usage limit, the higher Plan carries the larger allowance.

2.6 Changing your Plan

You may move between the Lonzo Agenda and Lonzo Assistant plans at any time. A Plan change is a change to your existing Subscription, not a new purchase, and Google Play determines any price adjustment (including proration) for the current period under its own rules. An upgrade takes effect when Google Play confirms it; a downgrade takes effect no later than the start of your next Renewal Term, and your usage allowance is set to the new Plan's allowance at that time. A downgrade deletes nothing — content created while you were on the Lonzo Assistant plan is retained, and the features that produced it simply become unavailable until you upgrade again.

3. Automatic Renewal — Please Read Carefully

YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS UNTIL YOU CANCEL.

  • Automatic renewal. Unless you cancel before the end of the current period, your Subscription will automatically renew for a successive Renewal Term of the same length.
  • When you are charged. At the start of each Renewal Term, the payment method on your Google account will be charged the then-current price for your Plan, as shown at Google Play checkout. Both Plans are billed monthly.
  • Renewal price. The renewal price is US $4.99/month for Lonzo Agenda and US $24.99/month for Lonzo Assistant, plus applicable taxes, subject to the price-change notice in Section 8. Prices are tax-exclusive; EU/UK prices are displayed VAT-inclusive.
  • How to cancel. You may cancel at any time, through Google Play — see Section 5 for the exact steps.

4. Free Trial and Conversion to Paid

4.1 Trial length and conversion

A Free Trial lasts 14 days and gives you the Lonzo Assistant plan — the full Service — for its duration. A payment method is collected when you start it, and it is offered once per account. At the end of the Free Trial, your Subscription automatically converts to a paid Subscription and your payment method will be charged the then-current price for the Plan you selected when you started the trial, unless you cancel before the trial ends. If the trial does not convert, the account has no access to the Service — there is no free level to fall back to — and your content is retained as described in Section 7.2 so you can reactivate by subscribing.

4.2 Cancel before you are charged

To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the Free Trial period ends, through Google Play (Section 5). If you cancel during the trial, you retain trial access until the trial period ends and are not charged.

4.3 Store trial terms also apply

Every Free Trial is started through Google Play, so Google Play's own trial presentation and terms also apply — including its trial-eligibility rules, which are set by Google and may differ from the once-per-account rule stated above. Where the Store's disclosures govern the trial, we will mirror — not contradict — them; if there is any inconsistency, the Store's checkout terms control the purchase.

5. How to Cancel

You can cancel your Subscription at any time. All Subscriptions are billed by Google Play and are cancelled there.

5.1 Cancel through Google Play

Cancel from the Google Play Store app (Menu → Subscriptions → Lonzo → Cancel) or on the web at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period; you retain paid access until then.

Lonzo takes you there. Tapping Manage plan in the app — or in the browser app — opens the Google Play subscription screen for your subscription, so you do not need to find it yourself. This route is available on every surface where you can use the Service, and cancelling is no harder than subscribing was.

5.2 What we cannot do

We cannot cancel, modify, or refund your Subscription on your behalf — Google Play controls the billing relationship, and we have no ability to override its decisions or its timing. If Google Play is not working for you, contact us at support@lonzo.ai and we will help you reach the right place, but the cancellation itself must be made through Google.

5.3 Effect of cancellation

On cancellation, your access continues until the end of the paid period already charged, and then the account has no access to the Service — there is no free level to revert to. Your account content is retained (Section 7.2) and you can restore access at any time by subscribing again.

6. Refunds

6.1 Refunds go through Google Play

Every charge is processed by Google Play, so refunds and billing disputes are governed by Google Play's own refund policy and process, and must be requested through Google Play — from the Play Store app (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history) or at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. Google decides those requests, and we can neither override its decisions nor issue a refund for a Play charge ourselves. Where Google grants a refund, we will honor the corresponding adjustment to your access.

Except as required by applicable law or granted by Google under its policy, fees are non-refundable and payments are non-creditable, including for partially used periods and unused allowance.

6.2 If Google declines and you think we should look at it

If Google declines a request you believe we should review, email support@lonzo.ai and we will look at it. Because we do not hold your payment method, any accommodation we can offer takes a form other than a card refund — for example, credit toward continued access. This is discretionary and creates no obligation for future cases, and it does not limit your statutory rights (Section 6.3).

6.3 Statutory rights preserved

Nothing in these Billing Terms limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, or withdrawal right you have under applicable law, and nothing in Google Play's policies limits those rights either — where a statutory right and a Store policy conflict, the statutory right prevails and you may raise it with us at support@lonzo.ai. For EU/UK consumers, this includes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, subject to the digital-content exception where you have expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged loss of the withdrawal right. That consent and acknowledgment are captured at Google Play checkout, where your purchase is made.

6.4 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or bank rather than using the Google Play process above or contacting us, we may suspend your account and paid access pending resolution of that dispute.

7. What Happens to Your Access and Content

7.1 On renewal

Each renewal continues your access at your Plan level and resets your usage allowance for the new period (Section 2.4).

7.2 Cancellation and lapse — your content is retained

If you cancel, your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. At the end of that period the account has no access to the Service until you subscribe again. Your account content is retained — we do not delete it because a Subscription lapsed, and nothing is deleted or archived on a schedule triggered by the lapse itself. Content continues to age out only on the ordinary retention schedule that applies to every account (for example, the approximately 30-day cache time-to-live on Gmail bodies), so you can reactivate by subscribing and find your account as you left it. You may request an export of the data we hold at any time, before or after a lapse, as described in Section 10.4 of the Terms of Use. See the Data Retention & Deletion documentation for how content is retained and deleted.

7.3 Termination for breach

If we terminate your account for breach of the Terms of Use, paid access may cease immediately, as described in the Terms of Use.

7.4 Account deletion

Deleting your account ends your access and entitlements. See the account-deletion path described in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not cancel your Google Play subscription — cancel that through Google Play (Section 5) as well, or Google will continue to bill you.

8. Price Changes

We may change our prices. For a change that affects the price of your recurring Subscription at renewal, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect, at the email associated with your account or in the Service. If you continue the Subscription after the effective date, the new price applies; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the effective date (Section 5). Because every Subscription is billed by Google Play, Google's own price-change consent mechanics also apply and may require your affirmative agreement in the Store before a higher price takes effect — a price increase can therefore require your action in Google Play regardless of our notice.

9. Taxes

Displayed prices are tax-exclusive (except that EU/UK prices are displayed VAT-inclusive). Applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes may be added and shown at checkout, and you are responsible for them, other than taxes on our net income. Because every purchase is made through Google Play, Google collects and remits applicable tax under its own rules, and the tax shown at Play checkout governs what you are charged.

10. Failed Payments, Grace Period, and Account Hold

10.1 Google Play's grace period and account hold

If a renewal charge fails, Google applies its standard flow: a grace period during which you retain access while Google retries payment, followed — if payment is still unresolved — by an account hold during which access is paused until payment is resolved. If payment is not resolved by the end of these periods, the Subscription is cancelled by Google and your account has no access to the Service until you subscribe again; your content is retained (Section 7.2). These periods and their durations are set by Google Play policy, not by us.

10.2 How to fix a failed payment

Update the payment method on your Google account (Play Store app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions). We cannot retry, re-charge, or update your payment method for you.

10.3 No late fees

No finance charges or late fees apply for failed or delayed payment. The sole consequence of non-payment is Google's retry, then the pause of access described above.

11. Payment Processing; We Never See Your Card

All payments are processed by Google Play Billing, under Google's own terms and privacy policy. We do not process, receive, or store your payment card number, and we hold no payment credentials of any kind — we are told only that a purchase or renewal succeeded, and for which subscription. When you subscribe, you authorize Google to charge your payment method for the applicable fees on a recurring basis, including after a card is reissued or its expiration date changes, until you cancel.

Billing errors and disputes follow Google Play's own dispute process and timeframes and must be raised through Google Play (Section 6.1). We have no ability to reverse or adjust a Play charge. If you believe a charge is wrong, raise it with Google, and tell us at support@lonzo.ai as well — we can correct your access on our side and escalate to Google where appropriate, and we will investigate any error that originates in what we reported to Google.

If and when Lonzo ships on iOS, Apple App Store purchases will likewise be governed by Apple's payment and refund process, and these Billing Terms will be updated to describe that channel before it is available.
